We couldn’t have been more proud to bring our core values to this training session that focused on fostering an inclusive and productive workplace. The creative event planners and respectful staff of our Milwaukee catering company were the perfect pair to service this phenomenal event.
Take a look at how we helped a reputable company achieve all its event goals on Tuesday, June 14.
Milwaukee Catering That Complemented Inclusive Training Sessions
Welcoming Food and Service
When the first wave of 30 guests arrived to the Miller Pavilion Banquet Center at 7:30am, our catering team made sure they felt right at home. A wonderful selection of assorted pastries and morning beverages paired with genuine smiles and interest greeted guests. While enjoying a French roast coffee, orange juice, cranberry juice or bottled water, guests chose from an array of muffins, donuts, danishes and sweet bread loafs.
This corporate breakfast menu filled with comfort foods was the perfect intro to the morning program that ran from 8:00am to 12:00pm. With topics of diversity and inclusion, it was important that guests felt that they could relax and be themselves.
Refreshing Snacks for the Morning Break
From 9:30am to 10:30am, guests were able to grab a light and healthy snack to help them recharge. We set out granola bars and seasonal cut fresh fruit such as watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew and pineapple garnished with grapes and strawberries. Of course, guests were also welcome to enjoy a refreshing beverage of their choice.
Facilitators Customized Lunch Orders
From 12:00pm to 1:00pm was the lunch break. And while the first group of attendees headed home, the facilitators would stick around for the afternoon session. We knew that keeping them well-fueled would be critical to the event’s success, so we made sure to have a lunch of their choice on hand as well as coffee, bottled water and soft beverages. Facilitators enjoyed these satisfying lunches:
- Southwest chicken sandwich: Seasoned chicken breast with tomato, lettuce, pepper jack cheese, avocado slices and chipotle mayonnaise served on a Telera roll
- Country club sandwich: Shaved ham and breast of turkey with lettuce and tomato stacked high on a cornmeal Kaiser roll with kosher pickle, pasta salad, fresh fruit, condiments and dessert
- Grilled chicken breast: A boneless, skinless breast of chicken grilled and laced with our Vienna sauce—an herb cream sauce blended with artichokes, mushrooms, onions, sweet peppers and sun-dried tomatoes
- Chef select starch Caesar salad: Romaine lettuce, grated Parmigiano-Reggiano and croutons tossed in Caesar dressing
A few facilitators would remain in the training session area for lunch. But of course, we thought of them too! We took personal orders for each of them and gave them a quality meal with a smile and thanks for their hard work.
Diverse Afternoon Snacks
With 30 different guests arriving for the afternoon program that ran from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, we made sure everyone would find a snack that they couldn’t resist. From 2:00pm to 4:00pm, we offered an assortment of homestyle chocolate chunk, M&M and oatmeal raisin cookies. Certainly everyone would love one of those tasty treats!
But our experienced event planners weren’t convinced that was enough. With the healthy eaters in mind, we though it was a good idea to also offer cucumber hummus cups, so we added these to the menu at no additional cost! Made with English cucumber, kalamata olive hummus, tomato powder and candied lemon zest, these fresh snacks are bursting with flavor and satiety!
When the second session wrapped up, we got the joy of seeing another group of fulfilled guests depart. Welcoming food, friendly staff and inclusive presentations were the complete package that made this Milwaukee corporate event a big hit!
