Can you imagine some cool floral arrangements of allium, lotus pods, Scabiosa pods and Eremurus or Squill? Or when you think flowers, does your imagination pretty much end with roses, carnations and baby’s breath?
We recently had a very pleased client who told us she wanted “something unique” in floral décor. We got on the phone with growers and put together some exciting looks with some unusual and interesting flowers.
Some of our happiest clients are those who have discovered that you get a better event when you leave some room for suggestions from the floral designer. When clients come in with some flexibility, and give some “big picture” descriptions of what style they are looking for: a clean, modern feel, rustic décor or over-the-top lavish.
It makes sense: when clients are more open-minded and adventurous, and they are working with a professional designer they trust, the end result can be better than they ever imagined.
Adorn, the Zilli Hospitality Group florist division, incorporates vintage props into floral arrangements to give events an authentic touch. This photo is one of our favorite recent looks, created with antique books, vintage china and linens, flowers and candles.
