Boerner Botanical Gardens
The Paper Elephant
As if the captivating ambiance of the Boerner Botanical Gardens isn’t enough, every year, during the last week of November, the venue is transformed into a winter wonderland. As you walk into the atrium, you and your guests will be greeted by two large nutcrackers with ornate details.
As you enter the lobby, you and your guests will marvel upon the towering Christmas trees covered in twinkling lights and ornaments and surrounded by presents. Witness the poinsettias and large ornaments hanging from the ceiling. Almost any spot is ripe for a holiday photo op!
The Paper Elephant
While the public space is always decorated, the ballroom allows custom décor only, meaning that you can transform the space to fit your group or theme if you’re hosting in that space. Consider a fire and ice theme with bold reds and crisp silvers. This would also be an ultimate theme for the atrium space, where your guests can celebrate under the stars. Imagine witnessing a quiet snowfall through the glass.
Coast & Miller Room
Coast and Miller Room are two of our most versatile venues. Both are situated on the lakefront—perfect for holiday parties where the views showcase a slightly frozen-over lake dusted with snow! Not to mention, the venues are decorated from top to bottom with lush, red poinsettias, trees with unique ornaments, garland wrapped around columns and stairways, special uplighting and more.

Both venues are decorated around Thanksgiving through the end of January for any holiday parties hosted after the new year, which is becoming a popular practice for many companies.
The Domes
One of the most unique venues in the Milwaukee area, The Domes only get more impressive during the holidays. Each year they have the Holiday Show, which begins in November. This year, the show’s theme is “Classical Christmas.” It will run from November 23rd through January 5th. Imagine impeccable red and green LED lights and white strand lighting hung throughout the space and more. It will be a sight to see. As you’re making your way to the Domes, you’ll notice the public spaces covered in winter foliage and seasonal flair. This will serve as the exciting build-up for the magnificent experience waiting inside the Domes.
