Milwaukee Public Museum
Just a mile from the lakefront, the Milwaukee Public Museum offers unique and entertaining spaces to amuse your guests. Mixing and mingling among Ancient Egyptian mummies or in the reimagined Streets of Old Milwaukee is sure to create a memorable night for any number of guests.
The museum welcomes events in many of their exhibits, like the classic European Village, exotic and intriguing Pacific Islands or the Sense of Wonder, which highlights what Victorian museums were like, celebrating the oddity of species and showcasing a humpback whale skeleton. The planetarium is the largest and most modern in Wisconsin, filling the Dome Theater with animations and projections and immersing guests in the galaxies.
MPM’s largest gallery, the Bert L. & Patricia S. Steigleder Special Exhibits Gallery, is a versatile location to host the sit-down portion or entertainment hour of large corporate or private events and weddings. The gallery utilizes an interchangeable wall system to divide the room into smaller spaces—perfect for breakout sessions. For weddings and social events, the Steigleder Gallery is often used in conjunction with the first floor, providing a fully rounded museum experience.
Variety and entertainment are the two distinct advantages of hosting events at the Milwaukee Public Museum, as the venue itself educates and captivates audiences and guests.

My husband and I are extremely happy with how our wedding and reception went at Milwaukee Public Museum. Lots of guests have said it was their favorite wedding they’ve been to, we have quite a few unique photos from the exhibits, and it went as well as we could have wanted. We would highly recommend the venue!

My husband and I are so happy that we chose Zilli Hospitality Group and the Milwaukee Public Museum for our wedding! The venue was unique, warm, and beautiful. The staff helped us to make the ballroom exactly what we envisioned and our guests keep talking about how much they loved the cocktail hour in the Streets of Old Milwaukee! The food was delicious, the drinks strong and the venue was perfect. I highly recommend ZHG and the Milwaukee Public Museum.

Our wedding at Milwaukee Public Museum was absolutely perfect! I knew I wanted to get married there and once we met with them we found out that Zilli was the hospitality group we had to use in that space. That made it so easy to plan because we didn’t have to seek out a few caterers and beverage vendors and compare rates, etc. It was very easy to just pick a package and have it all taken care of. They did an amazing job and the food was so delicious and unique. Our guests have been talking about it for months after the wedding.
