Old World Wisconsin
This venue is a unique place to host an event or wedding while still enjoying nature and modern amenities. Set in late 19th century Wisconsin, Old World Wisconsin explores what it was like to live as an immigrant settling in America’s heartland to farm and create the first towns. The venue space here retains that historic charm while still functioning as an ideal location for modern day events catered by Zilli.
Old World Wisconsin’s primary function is to entertain and educate teaching visitors about what life was like for Wisconsin’s settlers back in the 19th century. Their exhibits and activities offer insight into farming, cycling, cooking, crafting, raising animals and playing. This theme of cultural re-creation is also seen in their venue spaces, which celebrate the past while providing an excellent place to celebrate today.

A very nice place for families. Great historical representation of life in 19th century and earlier life in Wisc. Very accurate in it’s presentation of almost all levels of life and the different occupations at those times

My family from Illinois and I visited Old World Wisconsin. Very educational and entertaining! It’s a great way to see how pioneers in the Midwest lived, in general, and an excellent way to see how specific ethnicity settled in Wisconsin. Norwegian, Danish, German and something else, I think. African American is even represented, as much as it could be for late 19th century in Wisconsin. They have recently gone through and repainted using the true colors of the time, thanks to modern-day forensic science!
